Slim cork on quill floats - any idea of maker?

Post by Vole »

I rather like these*:

All bought from the London area, late sixties or seventies, I believe. The bottom whippings are thread, but the two red bands either side of the bodies appear to be tape or sleeving.

Can anyone please tell me who made them?

* So, it appears, did a mouse! (No. 3, base whipping)
