Yet another example of TFF generosity !!!

Post by AshbyCut »

A fellow TFF member IM'd me that a small envelope was on it's way ... and after a couple of days trying to handle the tease ... it arrived.

Inside was a delightful surprise ... these two packets of Bernard Sealey & Co. hooks ... "King of Tyons" eyed hooks in sizes 12 and 14. I had a few 'Tudor Spade' and 'Rapid Strike' by the same company, but 'King of Tyons' were new to me and much appreciated.

Many thanks, Sir (you know who you are) !!!

I was just discussing this with a fellow member the other day, there's surely no other forum like it anywhere, and as he said 'long may it continue'. Just the other day Fredline sent me 'without charge' a line guard for a reel I wanted. Would never take advantage of it and certainly don't expect it, but really do appreciate it.

Nicely done mystery man!

Spot on POD. Long may it continue.
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

Splendid thoughtfulness. Might TYONS be Ty-ons, as in tie-ons?? Maybe tie-ons was a name for eyed hooks?
