Fox wide gape series 2 barbless size 10

Post by The Tuesday Swim »

Gents, these were my favourite hooks but I can't seem to locate them, have they been re-branded or disbanded?
Very similar to the Raptor T_6 but the points tended to not bend over

Any help...I only have one left in size 10!

Apologies, I know there are a few ladies amongst us...welcome.

I think Fox have re-vamped their hook range. I don't know about the wide-gapes, but I stopped off at my local tackle dealer yesterday to pick up some Series 2s and was told they have been discontinued. Luckily they had a few packs left in the shop.

Don't know if this is any help , but the ( quite) recently itroduced range of Drennan super specialist wide gape barbless and wide gape micro-barbed are excellent.

GOS, You couldn't PM me your local tackle shop, I might phone them, unless you have stock piled!

No need. Grayshott Tackle, Crossways Road, Grayshott, Hampshire. Just off the A3 at Hindhead. I don't know if they have the wide-gape pattern you're after though; I was looking for the standard down-eye, medium-long shank, straight point model.
