Devon Minnows

Post by Penninelad » Tue Mar 06, 2018 8:04 pm

A friend has given me a large quantity of Devon Minnows.About half of them have been painted whilst the remainder are blank.Has anybody got any experience of painting DM's,what paint to use and are they varnished? I have no experience of painting lures so any guidance would be welcomed.

Just use the paint you would use for float's, acrylics, enamels etc followed by a coat of varnish :Hat:

Many thanks I'll try the paints you suggest. If anybody would like a couple free of charge to have a go at painting send me a PM.The only condition would be after you have painted them you photograph them and post them on TFF so we can all see your efforts !
