What would you use the tennis ball float for? I'd like to know the story behind the snowflake float please.
Evidently the Tennis Ball Floats are used on the river in the Wimbledon are! :surrender:

This is the Wadham snowflake from the 1913 catalogue.

He was making celluloid floats for other people before this date.

It does not even register 1 gramme on my scales.

I know, but not as rare as the 1914 supplement or the submarine furniture catalogue he invented.

I have a few others as well but its just a question of sorting them out and finding them.

I know you have been researching the family Stefan. I look forward to your next publication with much anticipation. Will you put something more on the blog about them in time?

Yes definitely I am working on two blogs/websites and getting Men of Trent out etc.

I am looking at the family archives again and copying photographs that I have missed.

One problem is that there are so many to choose from.

Anyone have one?

What an amazing little float! Never seen anything like that before? I assume being made of celluloid they were quite delicate and as such very few have survived?
