This is a 5 year old thread....factor in inflation and you might see quite an increase. I suppose A Colin Whitehouse float is a Barder float really....

The prices of the few which did appear on the market were very high (£60+) but that brought a flurry of them on to the market and more lately they seem to go for around £30. Still a lot of money for a float.

There must be something extra special about them for that money. Perhaps someone can explain what that might be. Are they self hooking or something? Nah, they just hook a few anglers!

There's no denying that they are very nice floats.

Perhaps someone buying them at that price is hoping come the apocalypse when the dust settles, CW floats are what we'll be using for currency?

I paid £260 for a box of stripy flies (honey bees) and I had to give the box back! If it makes you happy.
