A poem for all you spooky fans!

When i am out fishing i often put pen to paper and write the odd ditty. This was inspired on 'Burn wood lake' watching the angler across the other side of the lake as he drifted in and out of the rising mist. thought i might share it with you guys and dolls out there.

The ghost fisher.

The lone angler sat staring at the red tip of his float,
he sat under the willow wearing a hat and coat,
while the grey mist hung over the still moat,
shrouding the deep pool with its grey smoke.

This lone angler, this grey figure in the mist,
sat silent and still, holding the cane rod in his fist,
his red float riding at ancher, not moving in the fog,
while this lone fisher drifted in and out of the smog.

The mist slowly evaperated as the sun got higher,
the heat beating down burning off the mist with its fire,
the lone anger shimmered in the rising heat
this lone grey angler was dissapearing from his seat.

The ghostly angler dissapeared with his rod and float,
there was nothing left of this fisher not even his coat,
forced to fish from midnight till dawn,
whence he would return to hades spawn.
