How to stop your trousers ridind down your wellies

Post by Buller »

So how do you get this right? I find myself pulling up my trouser legs now and then as the damn things ride down, even though I tuck my cords into my socks when I don the boots.
I've seen some socks pulled right over the tops of the boots - is this the right approach? It just don't look right though! :Chuckle:
Help please!

long socks like football socks work well and you don't need to turn them over the top of yer wellies :)

Get some elasticated stirrups sewn in to your trousers I think gymnasts have them on their costumes

Sealskinz socks work for me in the winter. They're a bit pricey but should last a while.

:Thumb: Hose or gaiters, failing that long socks over the wellies.

Rob I couldn't care less if you got three legs as long as you keep those breakfast baps of cheese, bacon and mushrooms coming when I dangle a float with you! :Chuckle:

Never had that problem so I must be doing something right without knowing what! I do have very bald legs though, so perhaps shaving your legs will do the trick! And I do tend to wear normal sized walking boot socks!
