From the letters page.

I have letter that Richard Walker wrote to me , dated 29.2. 74. It is six pages long and hand-written. The letter ends

"Please forgive my scribble - my fast-typing secretary came off worst in an argument with a Jaguar and now nurses a badly smashed leg.

Sincerely
Richard Walker"

If the secretary referred to in the letter was, in fact, Dorothy Johnson, then the title here is unfortunately not quite correct. Someone, alas, did mess with her.
What is the date on the magazine Harry?

Just a thought - what if it really was a jaguar, and not a car....

You've been a very naughty pussy she probably told it before the fight ensued. Lol.
