Let us know how refurbishment goes.
Stripped ready to go back together.

I acquired a very beat up MkIV Carp 550 which Chapmans kindly restored for me and if you are struggling to find a reel band to complete the rod I am sure an enquiry to Chapmans would be received well. They did a cracking job on my 550 and it has been and continues to be a joy to use.

A visit to Chapmans one day this week i think, to see if they have the black reel bands and i.l take the carp rod for them to have a look at, they are always interested in seeing their old rod,s back at the factory.

Good evening gentlemen,
does anybody know the names of all rods of the glass range?
I only know the hunter and the506.Nice rod but seldom seen on ebay.I restaured a 506 for
a good fishingfriend and used it a couple of times since them.Love it but hadnot seen for
a long time on market.
Did anybody of you hear that Chapmans took Sportexblanks, too?

Thanks

Lee,

How do you whip so quickly? And can I ask what grade thread you use?
I have laid aside business, and gone a'fishing.
