Looks fantastic. I love the colour of the cane.
I have an 11' Chapman Carp rod with a 2lb t/c – it's a great fish tamer. Slightly heavy in the tip and too heavy in the hand all up to use as a rod to creep around a pool stalking but it's a great rod for fishing when you have close in lily beds that you need to keep fish away from. It has enough power to turn fast running fish. The blank has a superb powerful action and bends like a MkIV right down to the handle. The cane quality is excellent.
A slightly lighter 11' carp rod would come close to my ideal.

Leon.
Don't forget to post a photo of the rod with one of those
big fat French carp.
A sad thought, that in the not too distant future, when
John and Brian retire, the Chapman's family of rod builders will
be no more.
(Sorry, but I'm in one of my morose moods)
