could somebody please weigh their chapmans 500 and let me know the weight please.

Mine comes in at 11.09ounces or 314.4 grams

Just weighed a 500 (standard)........... 11oz in total
the handle weighs 5.5oz on it,s own.

Just weighed two at 12 ounces each. They both have de-luxe ringing.

I weighed one 2 years ago when I was comparing it to my Allcock's 'Harvey Torbett' ... it was 11.1 ounces.

Interesting! I'm intrigued to know why you're asking about rod weights so might I ask the reason??

Also, rod weights make more sense when one also knows the handle length!!

Hi Santiago, i fell away from cane because of the weight, strokes and other ailments made it difficult, but i am feeling a lot better and just miss cane rod, i do a lot of living in the past lol.

So are you trying to find a lighter cane rod?? If so, I find ones with a longer handle feel lighter because of the balance!!
