Lovely rods Lee although I have not handled the glass version.
How do they compare.

Not had the chance to use either yet Mark. The Cane one is one i refurbed with a new tip from John Chapman late last year. The glass ones just needed a clean up. Think il have to take the 2 versions next time out and compare them,.. Will let you know

Re: Peter Stone Ledgerstrike Cane and Glass
Fished the weekend with the split cane Ledgerstike, caught loads of small fish, Roach / Bream / Rudd / Perch and Gudgeon, and then a nice 8lb ish Mirror Carp picked up the bait. After a few minutes the carp was ready to net, The Ledgerstrike handled it well and looks to be able to handle much larger fish. Next time out il take the Glass version to see how it compares.

That's a lovely looking Carp, well done
There are three things that improve with age: wine, friendship and water sense, and there's no short cut.
