Spotted in a 1962 Chapman catalogue. Where the name of the rod "Di Maggio" came from.

Would the well-known angler have been R.S. Walker, I wonder? He mentioned catching roach and dace to order by singing opera for one, and "Bonny Annie Laurie" for t'other, as I recall, which rather baffled Peter Thomas.
