Quite alright Ryan, i set a limit and stuck to it, you bid more, and now you know Andrew Davis has a top section, although i planned to rebuild the short top too as a swing tip end :Wink: waited this long, can wait a bit more, or build my own as i keep being told to :Thumb:

look forward to seing yours restored and posted on here :Wink:

Just a quick pic of the progress on my Roach perfection. I have stripped the butt section and made the new tip section. I also couldnt resist making another whilst I was at it. Just whipping and varnishing to go now! Image

Just a few more pics of my Roach rods. The Original is almost finished now, having had a new tip section with original ferrule fitted and a complete strip and rewhip. Just needs a final polish and the cork cleaning
My replica is just awaiting the cork handle to be finished and then that will also be ready to go.
These rods really are super roach rods. extremely light in the hand with a lovely action. Dare i say it but perfection for Roach fishing!

Nice indeed, how much would you think for a replica :Wink: the rod not the bag :Chuckle: I had a waggle with Mikes PR the other day, only in his house unfortunately, not by the water, although only 10' from the bathroom and i'm getting so desperate to wet a line it may come to that :Chuckle:
