Any chance of posting some pictures? I'd like to see the deep purple colour, think the crimson colour is actually called garnet.

I am not able to take a photo (beyond my capability )it looks original though it's very deep purple I have seen a few mk4s in this colour the inters on the rod are a lot closer than the garnet one is garnet a colour b James would have used ? Thanks Mike :Hat:

Yes your right Paul d the colour is garnet on one the other is the same as the mk4 for sale on traditional angling products site deep purple :Ok: did b James use garnet as a thread on rods ? Thanks Mike :Hat:

Yup :Hat:, think you'll find that deep purple is in fact "aged" garnet, maybe, I think, possibly!
