F.T. Williams Esher

I cant seem to find any information about an F.T. Williams Esher rod ?
It's split cane and 8ft to the bottom of the cork . It looks like a spinning rod . I did search to see if there were any F.T. Williams catalogues but could not find any listed here.
There seems to be a few Dorsets around but not so many of these. As it needs some eyes and a ferrule regluing I'm sort of wondering if best to restore it if it's unusual otherwise I may change the handle during restoration?
