Scottie

Post by NiceRoach »

This is a fly rod called a Scottie for which I'd appreciate any detail from any knowledgable chaps.

It's a lovely rich dark cane and is in very nice condition though droops like 'flea' rods tend to do after
usage.

Where was it made and by whom any information? appreciated - I'd love to learn of its profile :Hat:

Hope you enjoy looking at it anyway its measure 9ft

Scottie was the Trade Mark of Sharpes of Aberdeen rods - a Black Scottie dog!

Part was sold off and Scottie changed hands several times I think!

Look on here for J Sharpe and Scottie - loads of info!
