There are 2 Carpmasters for sale - one appears to have lost its whipping - not a ferrule. The other one is a spigot ferrule - same rods?

The one finishing on Sunday does appear to have spigot ferrules, but the one ending next Frioday looks to be the one listed in my 1969 Sealey catalogue as having "suction ferrules" and is pictured with them.

The crossed white thread on the male section is, I think, the packing underneath where the male ferrule was. I suspect someone will find the male stuck in the female.
