If you look at the clip 36 seconds in there's something already very wrong with that sea rod...it's almost as if Jack is hiding a split with his left hand.

Dick Walker did exactly the same thing at one of Gerrys of Wimbledon Angling shows held at Wimbledon baths. He used a MK1V of course and the swimmer was wearing flippers, Walker stopped him reaching the end of the Pool and eventually wound him in, it didn't seem staged !
