The "BB" MKIV carp being tested on the river

Post by Badger1 »

Random photos of one day in early October last year. Note the Easicast being used in reverse....I think :-).

A Andrew Davis MKIV in action.

Just lovely. The colours in the fish, the environment and the traditional tackle are a perfect compliment.

Morning Fred, the reel is currently filed deep within the tackle-cave at the moment. If I find it while doing a new-season clean I'll take some photos of the internals. It's a fairly early Young's Easicast. Not normally my reel of choice but occasionally gets airing. Yes....I have had a few of the half-cut rims. Generally prefer a Aerial, Hardy Wallis, or a Pattern 9 / 10A or whatever it's model number is. If I find the reel I'll take some photos. Cheerio.

Oh yes I think the gage for the drum brake tension is "L" for light, "M" - Medium, & possibly "H" for heavy. Can't remember now off the top of my head.
