Well my favorite rod is now well into its second season i too have now passed 200 carps on the bank Stu lol...nothing to massive but plenty of high teen’s and a few low twenties amongst the catch - changing the reels between center pins and classic old school fixed spools - no modern stuff! It’s a joy to use feels as light as a feather -is it me but once a fish is on any perception of rod weight just disappears .. anyway the rod is as straight as when it left A.D. workshop . I see No 2 is up for sale on the forum and my advice to anyone considering a new rod ... buy it you will not be disappointed cheers
