Excellent, the double figure bream you are catching from your canal are truly exceptional fish. The canals around my way seem to produce them to about 6-7lb.

An old post Shaun but some food for thought! I have just joined a new water. Most of the small skimmers have been done by predators but there are still some good Bream in there. Not doubles like yours, but sit and wait type fishing for 6lbers. I feel a session watching a bobbing rise on a cane rod is the way forward. Much more relaxing that sitting watching a quiver tip for 6 hours and expecting one or two bites at most. Cheers Exe Angler..
