It would seem nobody seems to know what they refer to so I'm thinking there must be a fair few rods with numbers amongst the members collections on here. So how about listing the numbers and the models they are from and you never know something might jump out at one of the experts on here?

I see how confusing the numbers are. Thought my idea of the date of manufacture was OK but am not so sure now. I hope to try it out for pike before the end of the month. Have found a Mitchell 300A to use with it.

I am bringing to Redditch on Sunday a 14' Milwards Floatcraft 3 piece cane rod bearing to number 57714.
If you have no grease with you, and your rings are full of ice, do not cut out the ice with a pen-knife but get your man to put the rings one by one in his mouth, and so to thaw the ice.
