One of the later rods as Terry Thomas' patent application has been granted. Looks original with the black rings...they are hard to find as they are no longer made now.


Slightly shocking when you first cast with one and see how much that 'twin taper tip' flexes!

That is a fantastic find, worth more 20 times what you paid for it. Just goes to show bargains are still out there

Gosh - well that is a fraction of the price I paid for mine which also has black intermediate rings - even the rod bag looks the same as mine.
A very fine rod which I enjoy immensely and if you get half the enjoyment from it as I do from mine it will indeed become a firm favorite.
