That's a game changer. Who is handling the sale? Might have to enter the lottery this week.

Hmmm! - I'm not at all sure what I think of this. For folks like us, it's unthinkable that the fishing will be stopped: but not everyone thinks like us, do they? And the stock - the Redmire stock - will that be preserved: will new owners even realise the significance of the pool? They could even fancy one or two koi carp swimming around, because they are pretty... I know these are horrifying thoughts, but when money changes hands like this, the circumstances change utterly, don't they? - and the Richardsons can advise the new owners, and I'm sure they will; but they cannot control what happens once the removal vans rumble away...
My guess is that the pool could be rested then turned - again - into a rather expensive syndicate. At least that would mean carp fishing continues at Redmire....
Ideally, the estate will be bought by a carp angler....but my goodness he'll need deep pockets!
Any takers here?!!

Another example of how you cannot take anything for granted, things change, the world moves on and like many things we often have no control over these things, how many of us have lost places we loved and fished as children to the bulldozer, big business and developers, hopefully Redmire will not suffer the same fate.
