High drama in the Top Pitch, Redmire.

Post by Gurn »

Hi all,

Just returned from four days on the pool where we had 16 fish between the four of us.
I personally had 4 to just under 20lb, three of which fell to a single grain of corn on a 14 hook, using the Constable forty fore and Altex combo whilst fishing the extreme shallows.
Good time had by all and the pool is looking majestic.

Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish

It wouldn't let you down,MD. Every time I go, I notice something new, another view or a new fishing spot.
The other morning I walked past the fallen oak and noticed how nature has quickly taken over.
I stopped to take a couple of pictures with my phone.
These pictures sum up the pool just as much as the fish.

Well done, Gurn. Glad the pool is on form and looking good.
I think Skeff still has plans for renovating it, so hopefully it will just keep getting better.

Harry, Please message me before your visit and I will be more than happy to send you a detailed rundown, with some tips to hopefully help you become a Redmire carp catcher.
