END OF THE TRENT SEASON....A WASH OUT GRRR!

Post by TrentFisher »

So last Friday I finished work with the last three days of the river season set aside for fishing.
The river looked good on my local stretch on Saturday and Sunday however I had commitments in a field finishing off a field shelter for horses.
Monday rising river and someone wanting urgent help put pay to Monday (rain all day).
Tuesday a great Spring morning......river up 3-4 feet overnight not a fishable swim on my stretch.......swearing! Back home worked on a rod.
Today no better.....still swearing....The rod project is moving long.....that's life.
Back at work in the morning looking forward to that ...not!

The canal is likely to get some attention between now an June 16th.

Oh the field shelter still needs finishing!

I hope some of you faired better than me

All the best.
Nige.

It’s been a tough winter all round Nige. I had a day on the river yesterday but never bothered today.
Only 3 more months to wait to get your own back on the mighty Trent.
