Thanks for the warm welcome :)

Following your comments, I have now discovered the Mitchell 300 (thank you!) and yes, it is a beautiful object, of classic mid-century modern design that would not look out of place in the Bauhaus Archiv!! I will definately be looking out for one .... still like the Ambidex though!

I prefer the Ambidex to the Mitchell Sion, but I'm a funny old so and so, it's that England stamp that does it for me.
