Good Morning

Post by StalkingLuke »

This looks like fun!

I'm Luke of West Sussex and have had an addiction to angling for many years now.

I enjoy nothing more than fishing long forgotten overgrown pools or rivers for most species, I think I'm a fairly sociable chap but when fishing I enjoy my own company, becoming immersed in my surroundings.

My tackle isn't strictly antique as most of it dates back to the 80's and early 90's and although well used, it is all treasured and well cared for the most precious items in my wardrobe!

When not fishing which is common now with a young family, I spend most of my time thinking about angling, scanning local maps for old estate lakes or half dried up pools and then if possible visiting them, I'm still looking for that undiscovered water inhabited by uncaught giants that will take my breath away.

In November after a few false starts I'm finally visiting Redmire Pool. As a regular visitor to London Zoo in the 70's I no doubt met Clarrisa although sadly now Guy the Gorrilla is my only memory of these visits.

In my teenage years Debbie Harry shared bedroom wall space with Chris Yates and the Bishop.

Anyway I'm looking forward to some well informed discussions on this site.

Thanks
Luke
