Thank you, good anglers. I am glad to hear that you liked my brief trickle of angling memories. It is a joy for me too.
And now that the air, the leaves and the days turn golden, and I can feel the autumn bringing familiar scents to the wild field across the road and a fuller meaning to the gardens and the woods all round these hills, I could, at a last, write down my mornings with the delicate crucians and my evenings with the fighting barbel, and even with some unexpected zander...
For who knows when someone somewhere will take up my line of piscatorial stories and start their own travels along the shores of the endless waters and into another world - the wonderful world of angling!...
