Hello everyone!
Hello everyone!
Hello all,
I'm a new member living in West Cumbria. I have fished from the age of 7 and I'm now nearly 70. Originally from Chester I grew up fishing the River Dee and the Shropshire Union Canal. In the past ten years I have returned to using traditional equipment and have managed to amass a fair amount of tackle, mainly Allcocks rods and Youngs Ambidex and centrepin reels (and derivatives). Most are in perfectly usable condition and I am slowly refurbishing the remainder. I try to do this sympathetically as I believe that when you return something to 'as new' it's lost it's originality. I look forward to contributing to forum discussions.
Regards to you all. CoarseCumbrian

A hearty welcome, Sir.
