A few of us in the South Yorkshire,Derbyshire,North Nottinghamshire areas try to get together for few fishing days during the year.We have access to a lot of good waters including lots of free river fishing so if you fancy joining us send me a PM or keep a look out on TFF for announcements.

Welcome to the forum, Redwood.

Your comment that `people were polite, friendly and most importantly seemed to enjoy themselves whilst fishing' hits the nail on the head. Some of the `users vs collectors' discussions can become a little spirited but are always respectful. Watch out for details of AC's forthcoming `cane and pin' match next June, which might be right up your alley.
