New member from southern Germany
Hello to everyone!
I'm Andy form Bamberg in south Germany. I started fishing three years ago using all methods of modern angling.
A few months ago, my friend Martin/Duebel, also a member of this forum, told me about his experiences with trotting/centrepin fishing. A few days later I ordered my first centrepin in GB and did my first attempts. I just love it!
Animated by all the fantastic pictures of handmade floats in this forum, I skipped buying floats and started to make my own ones (today I finished my turning lathe).
My next project is furbish up an old cane rod, I've bought a few days ago (Thanks to Martin).
The waters I'm fishing in, are: a little river/stream called Hollergraben (trout, chub, carp, pike, perch) which is perfect for trotting; the upper section of the Main (middle river alternating fast and slow water) which I prefer for barbel fishing; the Rhein-Main-Donau-Canal (roach (I love roach fishing), perch, pike, carp).
I looking forward to get new impressions from future forum discussions.
Greetings from Bamberg!
Andy

A hearty welcome, Sir.

Welcome Andy I'm sure you'll enjoy the forum. You can't beat fishing for roach with a centrepin and a hand made float!
