Hello from Castleford
Hi, have just found this forum recently and it fits exactly how I love to fish, cane and a pin. I tend to fish mainly the canals local to me, with Roach and Perch being my favourites.
I'm currently using an unknown cane rod which I may post a photo of later to help with identification and a JW Young Trudex reel, I have loads to learn and I cant think of a better place to do it.
Thanks
Paul

Welcome Paul, sounds like your in the right place.
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

A hearty welcome, Sir.
