Hello .. I know Ducketts canal well. I've fished the Regents at Mare street and around the Lea all over and fished the Ducketts canal ( where it joins the Lea, at Fish Island. As well as the old Lea behind WestHams new ground , old ford lock too. The only tackle shop in east London is 5 min walk from your name sake

Where do you fish around here in east London ?

There are a good few Lea anglers on this forum

Late in the evening, after the sun sets. The traditional drink is never ignored by some. Or so it seems...

Welcome to the forum. By the sound of it you're a fellow member of London Anglers'. I'll be fishing Bures Lake (with maybe the odd excursion to Glemsford and the Stour) for the week 16 - 22 June. You're welcome to join me.

What is your favourite word?
I suspect it could be “love”, despite its drawbacks in the rhyming department.
