Hi all.

Post by J.T »

Just realised I forgot to say hi to everyone before just jumping in and posting, so Hello everyone.

My Real name is Jeff Tucker and I am from Surrey, I mostly Fish Bury Hill (Dorking Surrey) and The River Great Ouse in Godmanchester (Godmanchester Angling and Fish Preservation Society) as My Mother in Law has a second house up there which we stay in some weekends.

I have 2 Cane Rods, F T Williams "The Dorset" and a Richard Walker MK IV Carp and mostly use a pair of Mitchell Match reels on them although I have been known to dabble with a Centre pin every now and then, I also have a shed load of handmade Traditional Floats and a lovely pair of Split Cane bank sticks, just need a Cane landing net now and I am sorted. :)

I’m currently in search of a traditional Pool/Lake/River club to join so if you can help out let me know. :D

Welcome JT.
I was a regular at Old Bury Hill in the late 80's and caught some lovely tench and a few stunning carp.
How is it fishing these days?
Cheers
Luke

Thanks for the welcome all. :)

stalkingluke - The fishing is pretty good, my favourite Lake is Milton which contains mostly Tench, Bream and Crucian Carp, I love the Crucian's.

I fished the old Lake on Friday just gone and managed to land 4 Carp on the float, which was nice. :)
