Welcome aboard Paul
Not a fish was visible that first time I visited Beechmere; an utter
stillness brooded over the place and I felt the strange and sinister atmosphere which, so the story goes,
has been the cause of several suicides.โ

Paul where do you fish on the Medway? Most of my fishing on the river is on the Penshurst Angling Society beats...usually from around now until the end of the season. I target the chub, perch and sometimes the barbel. Lovely waters, very friendly small membership, worth a look if you are not already a member.

Re: New member from Tunbridge Wells
I am a member of Royal Tunbridge Wells Angling Society and fish most of their waters. I concentrate my winter stick float fishing around Balls Green although I enjoy the area from Chafford to Fordcombe when conditions are favourable.

Nice bit of water around Chafford Paul, with the benefit of the Chafford Arms just up the hill for a post dangling pint My mate Stevie use to fish around Balls Green although not fished it myself...
