Hi TFF,
My name is Nick, and I am a Traditional Angler!
I do not know how it happened but my wallet appears to be empty, and bean sticks are now in the house instead of the greenhouse.
Looking for support and advice from similar, friendly afflicted people!
I must admit to having lurked in your margins, picking up on morsels of Rapidex and trudex. I finally succumbed to a delightful traditional bait of Sharpe's,Oliver's and Constable. Cleanly lip hooked on a size 10 ( 10ft "the carp" to be precise ). Gently but firmly played and now languishing in a cool soft landing net awaiting release for my next narrative.
Thank you for allowing me to be a member of the Forum. I live in North Devon, and enjoy mainly coarse fishing. I am also starting to practise the Fly, but must admit to being some way off.
Looking forward to talking tackle, and the like in the near future.
All the Best,
Nick

Fishing is not just a sport, it's a way of life. It's an escape from reality, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It's just you, a river, and an old Willow tree hidden away from everything.

A hearty welcome, Sir.
