Thanks for the very warm welcome every one, I have now spent a few hours finding my way around this forum and it seems great with lots of information available.

It certainly is Taz. The search function in the drop down box (upper left margin) is brilliant. Hours nay weeks of informative reading. You'll soon find that we have more than our fair share of experts in our midst - reel makers, rod builders, float makers to name but a few

Welcome aboard Taz. I believe your Medway rod was made by Marco (modern arms co) and is a good allrounder and very usable if its in fairly good order.

Hi,
I fish the Rother, it's my 'home' river. If you want a day fly fishing on the Leconfield Estate stretch above Coultershaw I would be happy to take you as my guest :-)

Hello Nigel, Firstly I apologise for not replying sooner ( have had some urgent business to deal with ) But I would like to thank you for the invite to fish the other as your guest and I would very much like to take you up on the offer when the time comes. funnily enough I have been looking at leconfield and cowdray rother with a view to membership, so this could help me make my mind up. I have been fishing the bognor and petworth stretches for trout, barbel and chub for a few years on and off, along with part of the hamble and meon a few years ago . the leconfield waters look superb.. once again thanks for the offer.Nigel Rainton wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2020 10:30 pm Hi,
