Allcocks Match Special

Another reel that is getting hard to find these days.



I think these were a version of the Trudex or Rapidex.A very nice reel that spins well.

The Trudex and Rapidex look similar but are in fact very different reels, designed some years apart. As you surmised, the Match Special is a re-badged Trudex, made just for Allcock. Some where on here I've written what years they were made for after checking all the Allcocks Guides, I think it was only for 4 years and consequently they are fairly rare.
