Allcocks Aerialite line guard

Post by Tonytoned »

Hello Everyone

Does anyone know if it's possible to remove the line guard from an early Allcock Aerialite easily. i.e unscrew or unbolt. Thank you for your help and time

Hi Tony,

there was post the other week and I mention I managed to remove one by using a very fine hacksaw blade (removed form the frame) cutting the two arms where they join the backplate....very carefully!
However that was some years ago ,so I suggested a Dremell could be a better tool these days.

All the best
Nige.
