Still chuckling at the very idea........ :Chuckle:

Let's hope your stunning success with the new company doesn't prompt a swift American buy-out....it's what usually happened. :eyebrow:

Not wanting to pour any cold water on this but you will have to trade in some way to defend the name if its abused or spend another £5-10k on European or World wide IP protection. The least expensive way is to trade of course so if the name is abused you can demonstrate that you have something to protect.
Can I therefore respectfully suggest that you make a full list of your Precision rods in order that they may be offered to members. This will demonstrate willing and fulfil the objects of the new Company. A reasonable 20% on the purchase price, not including refurbishment, would seem in keeping with the sector. If you pm me the list I'll give it a once over on a gratis basis before making it public.

Mal,
Well done and congratulations. I'm hoping that 'Precision Rod's' will considering hosting an 'owners' day for those of us fortunate to own one (or in some cases many....!) preferably at a 'traditional venue where a line can be wetted and one can partake of good food and drink.

What a splendid idea, Sir !!! Let me set my mind to it.
