Sorry about the Torrent fiasco, I`ve no knowledge of said, the Mrs has just had a dig at me about it.

What I can tell you, its my job, if you do buy over the net, phone etc, for goods and services, do as mentioned, use the credit card, the protection comes under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act. Also there is the Distance selling regulations. Basically you’ve got a cancellation right, (you do not have to specify a reason) only having to pay carriage if the good have arrived…..
But if you have a debit card not all is lost. Chargeback is a process that allows you ask your card provider to reverse a card transaction if there are a problem with goods you have purchased. Charge back is not a legal right unlike the aforementioned, but is a voluntary scheme, which participating banks subscribe to. It applies to most debit cards, although rules may vary

yes i'm affraid i'm the real chavender ,the only chavender ,i do move in mysterious circles sometimes, i'm like the bogy man ,say the word "centrepin" three times and i appear like magic

as for the anglers corner video's ,there is another set of four programs on game fish which i'm still trying to locate to add to my collection on youtube .people are free to download them ,i post links to my collection for people to enjoy

Well he's more of a game fisher now, but he has just bought himslf a set of Paul Cook floats!


I think Angler's Mail is saying that he has used them in a TV advert, certainly they have a picture of him 'in character' with some floats in a box.

Incidentally, just to be accurate Cholmondely-Warner was a character by Harry Enfield, Paul did Rowley Birkin QC, who was 'exceedingly drunk at the time'.
