Very impressive. Hopefully your example will spur other forum members into having a go at rod restoration and so become true artisan anglers. :Hat:

You're right, Wal! Should have re-named it 'The Lomond' and christened it with a 40lb+ Scottish pike!

ABU 5000/6000, 25lb line, very large dead-bait.

(Forgot to mention it earlier, but the rod weighs just 13oz, balances 8" from top of handle. With ABU 5000 on, 2" above handle. Beautifully balanced).
