Nobby, all the trips I've had to the pool hold special memories. Between our party of three this year we had 22 carp and a good few eels. The pool giving up it's full repertoire, classic commons, leather, fully scaled and linear mirrors. In fishing terms it was a fine result though I never really fish 'hard' at Redmire. However, year upon year, the real pleasure I take is from the surroundings, the relaxation, Bamfords 'hospitality' and time spent with good friends. Add to this the christening of a new rod and yes Nobby, I've talked myself into thinking it actually was my best trip.
