Rod labels
Hi guys I have just acquired a couple of Costable forty fores both rods in very good condition but both rods missing 1 label each 1 rod only has a very partial gold oval constable label on the butt section the other rod is missing the UJ rectangular label does any one know if they can still be sourced? ... I do like my rods to look correct cheers

Re: Rod labels
Hi Sharkboy,
There has been much discussion on this and other forums because most of us are in this position regarding Labels. However, whilst I believe it's possible to re create makers labels using a computer and printer, most are reluctant to do this because of the possibility of fraudulent use of such labels.
I hasten to add that I would have no idea where to begin...

Re: Rod labels
They can be recreated if you have very deep pockets. If you want true gold to be printed then that's a whole new ball game. I'd see the loss of the decal as part of the rod's history, doing so will save you an awful lot of money.
