I have just found another photo of me with a carp my Dad and I caught from the Graveyard while looking through my late Grandfather's photographs.

This post was originally made on the 7th April 2014. Finding the photo among Granddad's things made me decide to go and have a look at the marina. I assumed it would be built and full of boats by now. However when I turned the corner it was still the same as it was in 2014. I spoke to a bloke pole fishing opposite The Graveyard and expressed my shock at the lack of marina. It turns out that the farmer has had is planning application refused. The old bloke thinks that the diggers have made the bay a lot deeper and that boats are now able to turn around in it. It never used to deep enough for that when I was a kid. I wonder if the carp will still be there in the summer as much now it has been made deeper.
