Evening Gents
just wondered if any member had fished this canal, the last time I fished it was back in the 80's as my Mum lived close to it for awhile and I use to leave some tackle at her house for quick cast.I had some nice roach during that time.
I understand it is controlled by Nottingham Federation and day tickets are available.
Any further information would be most useful
Many thanks as always.
Nige.

Re: NOTTINGHAM CANAL
I think we've been this way before. Notts Fed control the part in the city centre from Trent Bridge to the River Leen on the west side of the city including the Lenton Lane stretch, whenever I go to Trent Bridge I usually walk along the canal bank from the station. Day tickets available. They also control the Grantham and Beeston canals all of which I mean to fish some time. See http://www.nottsfed.com/gallery/nottingham-canal.
