I use a rod called “The Bittern “ I am not sure of the maker although I know another member on here has the same rod , whole cane butt and middle section , split cane tip ,excellant action and not to powerful

Keep an eye out for a nameless, ferruleless, Spanish reed + split cane tip, match rod.
They used to go for a song on ebay, but now they take a bit of searching out; the cane-to-cane joints are a giveaway when looking at photos.

Otherwise, Hardy's Lightweight, Sheffield style.

Milward Matchmaster.... Built the same as the Allcocks Tees.... @ 10ft 6in. Round butt and middle with a split cane tip.
